Please arrive 15 minutes prior to training time for sign in.  Training begins and ends at the time stated.  We lock our doors 15 minutes after the training begins and you must attend the entire training to receive your certificate. 

Quality Start Trainings   

 Introduction to Quality Start  CDA 5 ADM 6                                                                  

This three-hour session is recommended but not required and explains the model and process involved in becoming quality rated. You will learn about Louisiana Pathways Child Care Career Development System, social emotional development, and Quality Start Specialists.
This training is for Directors, Assistant Directors and Owners.

Louisiana Early Learning Guidelines and Progranms Standards:  Birth through 3 and Content Standards for Programs Serving 4 year olds   CDA 5 ADM 6

ELG’s are frameworks for high quality practices for all who care for infants and toddlers. This session will meet the requirement for directors and teachers training in Louisiana’s Early Learning Guidelines and Program Standards (DSS, 2005). These program standards are a framework for high quality practices for all who care for four year olds. This session will meet the requirement for directors and teachers training in Louisiana Standards for Programs Serving 4-year-old children (DOE 2003)

 Family Child Care Orientation

This workshop gives participants an overview of all the considerations, requirements, and competency areas involved in becoming a registered Family Child Care (FCC) provider in Louisiana. The training is based on state registration requirements, national standards and CDA competency goal areas. After attending this training, potential FCC providers are equipped with a cursory knowledge of what the business entails as well as providing information to other professional links for training and resources.
