This training is designed to introduce you to the concept of inclusion and working with children that might have special needs.

This workshop gives participants an overview of all the considerations, requirements, and competency areas involved in becoming a registered Family Child Care (FCC) provider in Louisiana. The training is based on state registration requirements, national standards and CDA competency goal areas. After attending this training, potential FCC providers are equipped with a cursory knowledge of what the business entails as well as providing information to other professional links for training and resources. All Family Child Care Providers are required to take this training during their first year as a provider.

The Block Center: Beyond Building Up and Knocking Down When young children are in the dramatic play center, they can expand on their oral language and social interactions skills as the communicate with the other children.
