The Children’s Coalition for Northeast Louisiana is currently accepting resumes for the following positions:
Administrative Assistant, Family Support Organization – Full-time (40 hours per week)
Dynamic administrative assistant is needed to serve as the primary administrative support for the staff and director of the Family Support Organization. The administrative assistant must have experience with providing supportive services in a busy office environment. She/he will coordinate meetings, manage staff calendars, create and receive correspondence, interface with the Coalition’s visitors, members, and staff in a professional and discreet manner, and serve as a back up for the receptionist. Key skills/competencies required include: working knowledge of Microsoft Office, excellent communication and problem solving skills, and the ability to manage and/or organize data. A high-school diploma is required and an associate’s degree is preferred.
Receptionist – Full-time (40 hours per week)
Exceptionally friendly and positive receptionist is needed for the Children’s Coalition and the Family Support Organization. The receptionist must be very organized, and possess a passion for serving as the primary person to greet visitors and clients who call or come in to the Coalition. She/he will also work with staff to setup for meetings, make travel arrangements, and ensure that office supplies are ordered as needed. This is an excellent opportunity for a person with a great attitude to work in a fun and family-friendly environment. A high-school diploma (or equivalent) is required and experience with customer service and multi-line phone systems is highly preferred.
